A: HemWise is a local, family-run school uniform shop based in Frederick, MD. We focus on quality, comfort, and growth-friendly designs so uniforms last longer. Plus, we’re open year-round—not just back-to-school season.
Sizing & Fit
Q: How do I know which size to order?
A: Each product page includes a detailed size chart. If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to stop by our store to try items on.
Q: Do your uniforms allow for growth?
A: Yes! Many of our items feature adjustable waists, longer hems, and flexible fits so your child can get more wear out of each piece.
Orders & Shipping
Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: Orders are processed in 2–3 business days. Standard shipping takes 3–7 business days. You’ll receive tracking once your order ships.
Q: Do you offer free shipping?
A: Yes! We offer $6.95 flat rate shipping and free shipping on orders over $100. You can also choose free in-store pickup.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Not yet. Currently, we ship within the U.S. only.
Returns & Exchanges
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Unworn, unwashed items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Embroidered and clearance items are final sale. See our [Refund Policy] for full details.

A: Yes! We work with schools to create customized uniform programs. If your school isn’t listed yet, ask your principal to connect with us.
